The Strauss Mansion Museum is Available for Rentals!
The 1893 Strauss Mansion Museum is the only Queen Anne-style Victorian mansion open to the public in Monmouth County, and it can be the setting of your next event! Over the years, it has been used for parties, meetings, photo shoots, film productions large and small, and even paranormal investigations! 100% of all proceeds from these rentals go directly to maintenance and restoration.
Small Group Photo and Video Shoots ($100 an hour)
Includes access to all rooms of the Strauss Mansion as well as exterior. There is no charge for student projects— just show school ID upon scheduling.
Private Parties (Rate TBD)
Includes access to first floor of the Strauss Mansion and wrap-around porch. The spacious backyard can also be used for an additional fee. Rate is based on 1) the number of people in your party, 2) whether or not there will be hot food catering, and 3) if there will be alcohol. Please keep in mind that the museum does not have a working kitchen (there is a refrigerator and microwave).
Paranormal Investigations ($400 for a group of up to five people, $450 up to eight people). Overnight investigations are available. Please contact the Strauss Mansion for times/pricing
Includes access to all rooms of the Strauss Mansion as well as the basement. A guided history tour can be given to your group prior to the investigation for no added charge. The guides will go over the history of each room and can inform your group of areas of paranormal activity throughout the home. Investigations last from 7- 11 PM, including set-up time. Saturday nights are preferred. A sharing of your findings is encouraged! (Overnight investigations are available. Call for rates.)
