Monetary Donations

Whether used for maintenance, monthly bills, or restoration projects large and small, contributions from the public allow our doors to stay open. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If you have any questions or would like to sponsor an event, please contact us at ahhistoricalinfo@gmail.com. Donate an Object

Objects may be dropped off at the Strauss Mansion between 12 - 4 PM on Sundays during our museum season. See the attached PDF for suggested donation guidelines and so we can mail you a receipt. Please print, fill out the form, and bring it in with your object. Keep in mind that the object will need to meet a few criteria. We will accept Manuscripts, Books, Photographs, 3D objects, Costumes and textiles that meet the following criteria

  1. What is the condition of the object? Is It in good enough condition to be displayed?

  2. Does the object help tell the story of the Victorian Era or does it have some link to the town of Atlantic Highlands?

  3. If it is a photograph, does it come with some type of information about the photo? Who is in the picture, where is the picture taken, what is the date of the picture?

  4. Is there history of the object? (date created, creator, where created)?

Once the object is received it will be reviewed by the Museum Management Committee. We will notify you as soon as possible of the acceptance of the object.


Donate Supplies

As an all-volunteer organization with a 130 year old house under restoration and renovation, we are in constant need of supplies. We can use building materials, display cases, audio visual equipment, office supplies, and general services (such as landscaping and gardening). Please email us at ahhistoricalinfo@gmail.com or stop by on Sundays from 1 2- 4 PM during our museum season to inquire.
