David is a history professor at Brookdale Community College. He is also a human rights advocate, author of literary and academic works and an avid hiker, cyclist and traveler. His discussion for the evening with be on the situation in Ukraine. Dr. Bassano spent the summer of 2024 engaging in volunteer work. He will describe his experience in this war-torn country and the determination and resilience of the Ukrainian people. As always, our speaker series are free.
