Another popular event that is coming back this year is our History Cruise aboard the paddlewheel boat, the Navesink Queen. The boat leaves out of Franks Pier(directly behind Sissy’s), in the Atlantic Highlands Harbor. This is three hour cruise that takes you on the Raritan Bay, up the Navesink River and then along Officers Row. Our lecturer for this event will be well-known historian and journalist, Muriel Smith. Lunch and snacks will be provided as part of your ticket. A cash bar is available for your beverage purchases. No outside food, drinks or coolers will be permitted. This event takes place on Sunday, August 6th. Boarding will begin at 11:30am with a departure precisely at 12:00pm. We are cutting back on the maximum number of tickets to be sold this year to allow for more “breathing room” for our passengers. Tickets will be $75pp. There is no rain date for this event and tickets are non-refundable. Required age for this cruise will be 16 or older.
