Helene Stapinski, along with co-author, Bonnie Siegler, wrote of a wonderful book called “The American Way”. The tagline for this book is “A true story of Nazi Escape, Superman and Marilyn Monroe”. An interesting excerpt from the book is about Bonnie Siegler’s grandfather. In 1954, he was the one who filmed Marilyn Monroe’s famous scene of her skirt billowing up over the subway grate in NYC. Come listen to this and other interesting true stories about her grandfather and more cast of characters. This is a free event that begins at 7:30pm at the Strauss Mansion Museum. Donations are always accepted. Also, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item or baby product to be donated to our local food pantry.
